JOB DESCRIPTION
As a 3rd Shift Shipping / Warehouse Associate working Monday- Thursday from 6:00PM – 4:30AM, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Slotter is responsible for the efficient assignment of all incoming items to designated storage locations daily. This role involves optimizing the warehouse layout, ensuring inventory accuracy, and performing general warehouse tasks while strictly adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Slotting:
    • Analyze incoming shipments and assign each item to the appropriate storage location based on product characteristics, size, and turnover rate.
    • Update the warehouse management system with new slot assignments to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that items are stored in an organized manner.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies to management.
  • General Warehouse Duties:
    • Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and receiving as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
    • Perform tasks using proper lifting techniques and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Participate in safety training sessions and communicate potential hazards to supervisors.


Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items safely.


Working Conditions:
  • The role is based in a warehouse setting that may involve varying temperature conditions.
  • Physical work, including standing for long periods, lifting, and bending, is required.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment.
