
Director, Business Solutions
The Director, Business Solutions – Marketing & E-Commerce is a key leadership role within the IT department, responsible for developing and delivering innovative technology solutions that drive digital marketing and e-commerce strategies. This senior position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and industry knowledge to align technology capabilities with business objectives across marketing, merchandising, and e-commerce functions.

- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the planning, development, and execution of marketing technology (MarTech) and e-commerce solutions that enable data-driven marketing, personalized customer experiences, and optimized online sales channels.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, analytics, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of best-in-class MarTech platforms, e-commerce systems, data management tools, and related technologies to support omnichannel marketing strategies and online sales growth.
- Lead a team of engineers, developers, and technical specialists in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure marketing and e-commerce applications and platforms.
- Apply data science and analytics capabilities to extract insights from customer data, measure marketing effectiveness, and optimize digital experiences and conversion rates.
- Establish technology standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, system interoperability, and compliance with security and privacy regulations.
- Manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships within the marketing and e-commerce technology domain.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous innovation and improvement in marketing and e-commerce capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong focus on marketing technology (MarTech) and/or e-commerce solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of MarTech platforms (e.g., marketing automation, customer data platforms, personalization engines), e-commerce systems, data management tools, and related technologies.
- Proven expertise in data science, analytics, and leveraging customer data to drive marketing optimization and personalization.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, e-commerce operations, and omnichannel customer experience principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing technology teams in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance.
- Retail or e-commerce industry experience is highly desirable.
